Carbon Fiber
May 8, 2010After 7 years of building Hondas, I finally purchased my first carbon fiber modification. I think it’s because I never got to the point of a build where aerodynamics or aesthetics was a top priority. Anyway… So a few weeks ago, a friend of mine started a group buy for a custom carbon fiber roof spoiler for the GE8. Ever since I first saw the Spoon Sports carbon fiber roof spoiler for the GD3, I knew I wanted to get one for the GE8. After waiting and doing some research, I discovered that Spoon wasn’t going to be making a carbon spoiler for the GE8. This mad me pretty sad. So once I saw the opportunity to get in on the group buy, I jumped for it. And I must say that I love it! I also had some maintenance done since the GE8 recently rolled over the 40,000 mile mark. Oil change, transmission fluid change, etc… Alright, here are a couple of pictures of the carbon fiber roof spoiler.
